Kutaisi local self-governmental bodies started online management of documentation.

Interim city mayor Shota Murgulia met representatives of the Ministry of Finance with regard to the innovation.

“Online system of document processing, which is successfully used by different state agencies, will have positive impact on the work of the City Hall’s administration. It will spare human and financial resources; in addition to that it will increase effectiveness of the work,” said Mikheil Gvarjeladze, representative of financial-analytic service at the Ministry of Finances during his meeting with Kutaisi City Mayor.

Kutaisi City Hall’s representatives spoke about online management of office documentation and rapid, free access to necessary documentations last summer. That time mayor Dimitry Kopaliani, who was specialist of online technologies (having returned to Georgia after 20-year-old working experience in USA), intended to train personnel in this field.

Soon, Kutaisi City Hall will launch test program of online processing of the documentation. In March the online system will be officially launched.
