Polling Restored in Polling Station # 16 in Martvili District

Polling station # 16 of Martvili district was already opened and ballot process is underway – CEC spokesperson Eka Azariashvili stated at the briefing. She said the stolen ballot papers were found sealed up nearby the PS # 16; consequently Martvili DEC made decision to open the PS # 16 after a short delay.

Besides, Eka Azariashvili said a ballot box was broken in the Polling Station # 32 in Anaklia, Zugdidi DEC. She said the CEC and Zugdidi DEC representatives will study the situation on the place.

“According to our information, the election process is going on in the peaceful environment. Majority of procedural shortcomings were eradicated on the place,” Eka Azariashvili said.
