Over 1500 Voters Registered in a Precinct in Sagarejo District

Observer of the Human Rights Center reports that 1612 voters are registered in the polling station # 45 in Lambalo village, Sagarejo district.

In accordance to the Article 23 Paragraph II of the Election Code, a polling station shall be opened for at least 20 and maximum 1500 voters.

CEC clarified that more than 1500 voters were registered in that particular polling station based on special resolution. 
There are 49 polling stations with 45 533 voters in Sagarejo district.
