According to the media, two women from Karajala village of Telavi municipality, Irada Gharibova and Anna Suleimanova left for Syria via Turkey. Some locals confirm this information, but some people say they went to Turkey for trading. Husbands of Irada Gharibova and Anna Suleimanova are looking for them.  Afterwards, information was spread in Karajala village of Telavi municipality that five more women from the village plan to move to Syria.

The governor of village Karajala told humanrights.ge that one of the women left the letter which said that she was leaving and asked to take care of her children.

“The families of Irada Gharibova and Anna Suleimanova have lived in Tbilisi for a long time and they have their own business. We know that they have crossed the border of Turkey, but we do not have exact information whether they left for Syria or not. The village is shocked with the fact,” Karajala village governor/attorney Alaskar Sardarov saud.

According to a local, the car of Irada Gharibova and Anna Suleimanova was found abandoned in Adana on the way to Syria. But no one knows if this information is true or not.

“We do not know how people are recruited of there and how they take them to Syria. They say people never come back from Syria,   because their lives might be in danger,” anonymous respondent told humanrights.ge.

According to that person, Vahabits have become active for 6 years in the village; , even children no longer hide their desire to travel to Syria.

The locals of Karajala village urge government for help. As they say there is a huge probability that other residents of the village might also move to Syria like Gharibova and Suleimanova.
