Savalan Mirzoev, the single mandate candidate of the Georgian Dream in Gardabani, conducts his election campaign during the feast. The single mandate candidate posted the photos of his meeting with the voters on Facebook. There are 20-30 people around the table on the photos, where people were served with tea, fruit and sweets. Only once we read that the single mandate candidate was hosted by the local population.

“Savalan Mirzoev, the single mandate candidate of the Georgian Dream in Gardabani, started his meetings in the village Lemshvaniera and heard the problems of the population there. Svanetian people served him with Kubdari (Svanetian meat pie)”, - the candidate’s official page reads.

Savalan Mirzoevi claimed the political party did not spend a penny on the feast. The hosts served the guests.
The representative of the Gardabani Office of the political party Girchi believes that it is difficult to estimate the truth. Araz Mashov claimed it is impossible to find out how the feasts are organized.

“Maybe, on that day nobody brought anything, but the day before they had given the money to buy the products. How can we check it, than we have to sit in their office and listen what are they planning”, - Araz Mashov declared.
ISFED and Transparency International -Georgia started to study the case.
