Kidnapped Person Was Released Several Hours Later without Bail

On November 27, Russian soldiers arrested Mikheil Khubulashvili, 18-years-old, during the patrolling in Jariasheni village, Gori municipality.

The family members of the arrested young man said Khubulashvili was arrested nearby the so-called administrative border in the village; he was put in the Vilis mark car and taken to Tskhinvali detention setting.

The mother said her son is disabled person and urged the Government of Georgia for help.

Gori municipality governor Davit Oniashvili said the government officials started negotiations with the Tskhinvali de-facto authority about the issue of Khubulashvili as a result of what late at night on November 27, he was released without paying the so-called bail.

The Ossetian law enforcement officers handed Khubulashvili to the Georgian side in the so-called neutral territory in Ergneti village. 

News
