Campaign Swim Safe – Presentation of the Research and Screening of the Investigative Film

On November 14, at 14:00 pm, in the conference hall of Human Rights House Tbilisi, the Campaign Swim Safe will present the research by PhD of Law Maka Nutsubidze – “Prevention of the Mortality in Water Bodies – Implementation Process of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement in the Georgian Legislation.”

Before the presentation, the journalistic investigation of the studio Monitor – “Death Zones” will be screened, which tells about the alarming situation in the water bodies of Georgia.
 
The participatory organizations of the Campaign, the members of the EaP Civil Society Forum Georgian National Platform will participate in the meeting, who many times petitioned the Government of Georgia to timely elaborate the legislative framework and the policy to prevent tragedies in the water bodies. 

The representatives of the Tbilisi Municipality and Emergency Management Agency are invited to the presentation.
 
Campaign Swim Safe was launched on July 16, 2018 with the initiative of Ana Dolidze, Human Rights Center, CENN and Progress Center. The Campaign aims to increase responsibility of the Government and raise public awareness. 

The Campaign organizes actions, discussions and conducts advocacy in Tbilisi and different regions of Georgia with the financial support of the Open Society Foundation
