List of Ossetian Citizens Captured by Georgian Security Service as Tskhinvali Regime Claims

Online edition www.sandidzan.eu of Ossetian Diaspora on Europe published the list of those Ossetian citizens who are captured by Georgian said as Tskhinvali regime claims; their fate is still unclear. The detention of these 39 people is often discussed at Geneva Negotiations. Georgian law enforcement bodies deny the existence of these people in Georgian prisons. However, part of them is convicted for various crimes; though they do not publish their names.

a)     South Ossetians captured prior to the 2008 war:

b) Persons captured by the Georgian military and security forces since August 8, 2008.

26. Tedeev Mairbeg Efimovich, born 1979, captured in Tskhinval around Gheroev street near secondary school No 12. He was wounded. Was last seen by Ivan Bosikov in Gori. Ivan Bosikov is one of the released hostages.
 
27. Ikaev Radik Jambolovich, born 1977, captured in Bakaty-kau village (person on the photograph) together with Nodar Bakaev. The latter was later released.
28. Kabisov Tamaz Andreevich, born 1975. Captured around Tbet village.
29. Gagloev Dmitry Alexandrovich, born 1967, captured around Tbet village.
The Georgian side denies any knowledge of location of the above persons despite the evidence such as witnesses’ statements and Georgian mobile phone video clip that prove that these people have been captured and kept by the Georgian troops. 30. Toroshelidze Goleri Davidovich, born 1982, captured on 08.10.08 in Korkula-Khelchua.

33. Pliev Soltan Rostikovich, born 1983.
 
The Georgian side denies the fact of capture of Khachirov Alan Yurievich, Khugaev Alan Davidovich and Pliev Soltan Rostikovich despite the evidence such as witnesses’ statements and Georgian mobile phone video clip that prove that these people have been captured and kept by the Georgian security forces. 35. Charaeva Khatuna Vasilievna, born 1964, arrested 20 December 2009
36. Pliev Gennady Gavrilovich, captured 04 January 2010 in Tskhinval’s district “Shanghai”.

37. Amzoev Taimuraz, captured 15 August 2009 by the Georgian security service of Dushetsky region.
38. Khestanov Zaurbek Elbrusovich, captured 25 August 2009 on the border of Dzukaty-kau.
39. Galabaev Boris Soslanbekovich, born 1958, arrested in June 2009.
