What Caused the Death of the Prisoner?

On May 31, 2004, according to official sources, a prisoner Arsen Khutsishvili died in a  prison hospital,  But,  Gela Nikoleishvili (Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights) urges that he died in #34 cell of the First Prison of Tbilisi.

The reason of his death is officially announced to be heart attack. Still, Khutsishvili’s relatives doubt that diagnosis and argue that the convict had been tortured and killed.  They state that signs of torture can be found on the convict’s body and wounds in the stomach area, from scissors caused his death. Khutsishvili’s relatives referred to the NGO “Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights.”

It should be mentioned that an examination of the body has not been done.
