Batumi City Court sentenced Tamaz Kikava, the former Chairman of the Parliamentary Senate of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, to three months pre-detention.
He was detained a few days ago and charged with the appropriation of 300 thousand GEL belonging to the state.
Kikava’s advocate considers the court decision unjust and is going to lodge an appeal.
