A Journalist of TV Company “Mze” Has Been Made to Leave Beslan

Tbilisi.08.09.04. Media News. Zurab Dvali, journalist of the Moscow Branch of the Georgian TV Company “Mze” has been made to leave the city of Beslan in North Ossetia.

On September 7, at about 8 p.m. shortly after a TV live show from Beslan, the local residents took interest in his person. After some verbal clashes Ossetian law enforcers came to the site.

As it turned out the residents got irritated when they realised that Zurab Dvali was a representative of the Georgian TV Company. On September 8, at 4 p.m. Ossetian law enforcers visited him in the hotel and without any explanations searched his personal luggage and confiscated his papers as well as accreditation card. They advised Zurab Dvali to leave the town and took him to Vladikavkaz with their own car.

Zurab Dvali left for Moscow by plane.
