Tbilisi.30.09.04.Media-News. According to the amendments in the Procedural Code of the Criminal Law, the term of pre-detention the duration of which is maximum nine months, will also include the period when parties are acquainting themselves with the case.

Until now the investigation period was determined by 9 months before giving the final accusation, but the period, when parties are to study the case, was not considered in this investigation term.
