Discussions of Sulkhan Molashvili’s Case has Started in the Council of Europe

Tbilisi.06.10.04.Media News. According to Nana Kakabadze, the Head of “Former Political Prisoners for Human rights” discussions of the case of Sulkhan Molashvili has taken start in the Council of Europe.

“The fact that the Regional Court did not have the right to sentence Molashvili to pre-detention as he was enjoying the immunity also confirms that Molashvili is in illegal imprisonment. Only Supreme Court had the right to sentence him to pre-trial detention. In addition to his illegal imprisonment he was tortured in the jail. Regarding the case the decision of the Council of Europe will be quite harsh for the government of Georgia” – stated Kakabadze.
