Former Vice-Premier of Batumi Disappeared

Tbilisi.16.12.04.Media News. Djambul Ninidze, Former Vice-Premier of Batumi and Former Head of the Port disappeared in uncertain circumstances in Moscow. According to Tamar Gudava, Press Secretary of Aslan Abashidze, Abashidze has sent a protest note to the Georgian Embassy in the Russian Federation regarding the disappearance of Ninidze.

The Russian law enforcers state that they do not have any concrete versions regarding kidnapping Ninidze or other reasons of his disappearance, though the criminal case has already been brought about it in the Prosecutor’s Office of West Administration Region of Moscow.

For information: The Georgian Prosecution charges Djambul Ninidze with embezzlement of 1.5 million USD of the state.
