Foot Patrol Police will Replace District Inspectors

Tbilisi. 10.01.05. Media News. Foot Patrol Police will soon begin operating in Georgia. The vacancies for the service are open in the Police Academy for citizens aged 22-37, and the age for former policemen is till 45.

The applications will be received till January 26 and those who will be selected will have a six-week-long preparatory training. 1200 citizens will be selected who will work in 24 regions of Georgia besides Tbilisi on 24 hour basis. They will also fulfill the functions of a District Inspector. Their salary is supposed to amount to 400GEL.
