500 Georgian Peacekeepers Going to Iraq

Tbilisi.10.01.05.Media News. Another Georgian peacekeeping unit will go to Iraq till January 20. 500 military servants of Shavnabada battalion will stay in Baghdad and their main task will be to ensure the defense of UN mission.

Georgian peacekeepers will first go to Kuwait by American military plane where they will have two weeks additional training and after this they will go to Baghdad.

Members of Shavnabada Battalion will stay in Iraq for six months.
