Governor of Dusheti District Beat a Reservist

Tbilisi.19.01.05.Media News.  Goga Khachidze, Presidential Representative in Mtskheta-Tianeti Region confirms the information that Goderdzi Berberashvili, Governor of Dusheti District beat a reservist Guram Gurashvili, Former Chairman of Bulachauri Council a few days ago.

According to Goga Khachidze the incident took place at the action held by the population of Dusheti District protesting having no electric power; the governor was drunk.

The victim himself has been taking treatment in Mtskheta hospital with the diagnosis of concussion of the brain.

Goga Khachidze says that the police have already finished gathering the needed information and the case has been sent to the  investigative department. The issue of launching a criminal case against Berberashvili will be clarified after the group of experts makes a conclusion on the heavy situation of Gurashvili’s health.
