Doctors Strike in Zugdidi

Zugdidi, 02.07.05, Media News. The medical staff of Zugdidi Hospital has gone on strike. They held a warning action and demanded the salaries which they have not received for three months.

According to the doctors, the hospital staff has already not received the salaries for 17 months, and at this time, they demand salary for only 3 months.

If their demands are not met, the medical personnel is planning to hold a permanent strike beginning February 8th and they stated that they will not receive any patients.
