Prime -Minister Describes Invalids’ Hunger Strike as “Hysterics”

Tbilisi.21.04.05.Media News. Prime-Minister of Georgia Zurab Nogaideli has assessed the strike of the Invalids League and their demand for funds as hysterics, and said that the government is not going to make any decision on the background of this strike.

“The Prosecutor’s Office will decide if the funds already transferred by the government are spent for the invalids,” Nogaideli said.  “As for the debts, the government will cover them and that can be arranged without hysterics.”
The members of the Invalids League demand the fulfillment of a decision made by the Supreme Court, and have been on hunger strike for ten days demanding 600 000 lari from the government.
