Georgian Soldier Wounded in Iraq

Tbilisi. Media News. 24.05.05. Four American military men died and one Georgian soldier was wounded in an explosion near the city of Bakuba. The wounded soldier is the member of Shavnabada battalion. The Georgian peacekeeper is in a vulnerable condition, and doctors initially could not guarantee that he would survive. He was taken to a military hospital to be operated on.

The Georgian battalion is currently fulfilling its mission in Baghdad and Bakuba, and the Georgian peacekeepers had been rotated just few days ago.
