Hunger Strikers Kicked Out form the Prosecutor’s Office

Kutaisi.29.05.05. Media News. Law enforcers have dispersed the demonstration of hunger strikers in front of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kutaisi.

The relatives of Giorgi Cheishvili, suspected in committing a murder, went on a hunger strike in front of the Prosecutor’s Office. They believe in innocence of Cheishvili and demand his immediate release.

Before dispersing the action, the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office had warned the protesters and gave them a certain term for stopping the action. However they continued hunger strike in the yard of the Prosecutor’s Office.

It is the third day that Cheishvili, suspected in killing his neighbour, went on a hunger-strike in the cell of the Kutaisi custody.
