32 Conscripts Have Entered Alternative Military Service This Year

Tbilisi.08.08.05.Media News. 32 Conscripts entered alternative military service during the spring conscription in the Georgian Military Forces.

According to the statement of Jaba Tsomaia, the head of Conscription Office of Internal Policy and Institutional Service of Presidential Administration, part of abovementioned 32 persons refused military service because of their religion; the others refused because of their health condition.

“A person who wants to serve an alternative service must apply to the relevant institution; the question will be solved by the special commission of the Ministry of Healthcare. In case of satisfaction, this person will be received at the concrete job,”- stated Jaba Tsomaia.
