Alternative Transportation Route is Unacceptable for Owners of Mini Buses

Tbilisi.22.08.05.Media News. Owners and drivers of mini buses moved from the Tbilisi City Hall to the High Building of the Tbilisi State University of Iv. Javakhishvili, and went on strike.

They are protesting against restrictions imposed on the movement of mini buses on several of Tbilisi’s main roads.

Since August 22, it is only possible to get to the Rustaveli and Chavchavadze Avenues and to the Kostava and Melikishvili streets  by bus.

The Tbilisi City Hall presented alternative routes and new running lines to the owners and drivers of mini buses. Those participating in the demonstration are not satisfied though, and threatened to  continue demonstrating.
