Mini-bus Drivers Held the Protests

19/09/05 “Media News”- Mini-bus drivers have protested against the government’s decision to prohibit the movement of mini-buses in the central streets of Tbilisi. The drivers held a protest near Rikhe, a place situated in an old part of the city. Protesters say that because of this decision more than 15 thousand people became unemployed and left without any income. The leader of “New Righters”, George Mosidze, supported the protesters. “This is a warning protest and the beginning of a war against the illegal activities of Ugulava”, - Mosidze said. The drivers will soon hold a protest in front of the Tbilisi Municipally.
