Protests Held in Front of Tbilisi Municipality

04/11/05, “Media News” – The movement “We Start” held a protest “Silence Rings” in front of the Tbilisi Municipality. The organization, which was created one month ago, consists of pensioners, unemployed, and other persons finding themselves difficult socio-economic circumstances.  The organization has prepared an ultimatum for the government, to remind them of the promises they provided to the people.

“Today, people who were serving for their home country all their life are rejected by the government,” – stated the chief of “We Start” Gia Berdzenadze.

He said that the movement has prepared the ultimatum a month ago, but the state did not show any interest. “That is why, we started to organize street demonstrations”, - said Berdzenadze.
