Fumes in Shalva Ramishvili’s Jail Room

Tbilisi. 15.01.06  Medianews - According to Nana Kakabadze, head of the NGO “Former Prisoners for Human Rights”, dense exhaust fumes had spread throughout the territory of Tbilisi’s 5th jail where Shalva Ramishvili is imprisoned. “It was difficult to breathe because of the smoke and prisoners requested immediate help from the jail administration. We are trying to find out the reason and all the details of the smoke’s appearance” - says Nana Kakabadze.

She also states that if the fumes were caused accidentally the administration should explain how they came about. “Prison administration has made no comments so far” - highlights Nana Kakabadze.
