Parliamentary Committee will Draw Its Conclusion over MP Badri Nanetashvili’s Case on Wednesday
Parliament’s Procedural Committee will present its conclusion over MP Badri Nanetashvili’s business activities on June 21.
Head of the Committee Khatuna Gogorishvili said the special working group that is trying to find out whether Badri Nanetashvili was involved in management of his TV station “Trialeti” or not had to present its conclusion on Wednesday.
According to Georgian Constitution an MP cannot be involved in business activities.
Badri Nanetashvili says he distrusts the working group; he didn’t even attend today’ session of that group. Nanetashvili is going to sue Georgian Ombudsman Sozar Subari for presenting false materials to the Parliament.
The thing is that the Parliament started to investigate Nanetashvili’s activities after Subari sent a letter to Parliament in which he presented the TV station “Trialeti’s” former journalists’ evidence according to which Nanetashvili was actually involved in the management of that TV Company.
