Permanent Consultation Council Will Establish in the Ombudsman’s Office

Tbilisi, 20.07.2006, ‘Media News’ – On the 21st of July, meeting about evaluation of the project ‘No Child without Attention’ will be held in ‘Tbilisi Marriot’. Future cooperation between the Ombudsman’s Office and NGOs will also be discussed.

Permanent Consultation Council, formed with NGOs, working on children issues, experts and child’s rights defenders, will be created after the meeting. NGOs will talk about incompatibility of Georgian legislation to European Convention of Children’s Rights.

The meeting is organized by financial assistance of UNICEF and European Commission in the frame of the project ‘No Child without Attention’’. The coordinator of the project is the Youth Network of Peace and Cooperation.
