Fatal Accident in Khaishi

On the 22nd September fatal accident took place at the Interior Ministry block post in the village of Khaishi, Mestia. Official from Zugdidi Fast Reaction Unit within the Interior Ministry, Bachana Kvikvinia became a victim of the weapon which was carelessly used. (At least the fact is stated thus by the officials at the Ministry in private conversations. However nobody has officially commented on the fact yet).

Bachana Kvikvinia was on duty on the 22nd September. He leaned the automatic gun to the wall and pulled the cock when taking it. As it became clear there was a bullet inside the barrel and it fired. B. Kvikvinia was wounded in the jaw, what resulted into the immediate death.

According to the family members of the dead person, the examination has been carried out; however they are not sure about it. Bachana Kvikvinia was 24 years old, had a wife and a child of three months. He lived in Krilovi Street in Zugdidi.
