2 Years Old Child Accidentally Killed In anaklia

On the 27th of August, shooting was heard in village Anaklia, Zugidi region. 2 years old David Sordia was accidentally killed during shooting. Child was resting in the river bank with his father. Injured in head, Sordia was urgently moved to Zugdidi hospital; however he died in couple of hours. According to eye witnesses, a lady was shooting from the gun of police officer. The owner of the gun, police officer came to police himself and told about the accident. Ramaz Khartskhia is born in 1981 and has a high education in law. He has started working in the Criminal Police of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti couple of months ago. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has already fired him.

On the 28th of August, the family members and relatives of killed Sordia raided Khartskhia’s house, although almost 25 police officers were guarding it. According to Sordias, they know the name of a lady, who opened the fire – she is L. Kharchava, the neighbor of Khartskhia and niece of famous businessman, arrested in Moscow, Temur Karchava. The family of killed child demands Karchava’s punishment.
