The General Prosecutor Office Joins with the Ministry of Justice

Tbilisi. 16.10.06. Media-news. The Judicial committee of the Georgian Parliament is preparing draft law, which envisages merging the General Prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Justice.
The deputy chief of the Judicial Committee Nino Kalandadze confirmed this fact in the interview with “Media-news” and noticed that it’s very important to have one coordinator for both institutions.

According to her it is not yet decided which model will be accepted for Georgia – American or European.
