Journalists’ Charity Demonstration in Kakheti

Yesterday, regarding the Day of Georgian Journalism, journalists working in Kakheti held a charity demonstration.

Demonstrators were representatives of the printed and central media sources. They presented the beneficiaries of the Gurjaani Children’s House with the gifts that were bought with the support of People’s Bank. Those children are ill with cerebral abscesses.

Besides that, representatives of the non-governmental organization ‘Human Rights Centre’, which was the organizer of the event, awarded the regional correspondents for the TV Companies Mze, Imedi and Public Broadcasting Company with icons of Godmother and diplomas.  

It must be pointed out that the journalists decided to make similar event to be a tradition. Last year they visited the Lagodekhi Children’s House and gave presents to its beneficiaries.
