Poet Zurab Rtveliashvili Becomes Ill after Going on Hunger Strike

Zurab Rtveliashvili, a member of the Egalitarian Institute, has been on a hunger strike for eight days already. Today he has become ill. He feels week and his blood pressure is low. He refuses to take any food or medicine.

The member of the Egalitarian Institute is going to be on a hunger-strike until another representative of his organization, Jaba Jishkariani, is released from prison.

The doctors say that the health condition of Rtveliashvili can be classified as stable. However, if he continues on the hunger strike, his health conditions will deteriorate to serious.
