President’s Administration Started Investigation Regarding TV-Radio Company “Trialeti”

Georgian President’s administration started the investigation of the appeal of one part of Shida Kartli Region population. In their appeal, people requested the President to save the TV-Radio Company Trialeti from closing down.

The appeal states that the company has been supporting the population and protecting their interests for seventeen years already. Recent facts suppression on the TV Company Trialeti has caused serious concern. The authors of the appeal stated that they could receive detailed information about the events in Georgian-Ossetian Conflict zone and throughout Shida Kartli Region from the TV Company.

Giorgi Tsabadze, a representative of the Shida Kartli Regional Administration, was put in charge of investigation.

Tsabadze said that at the moment they are collecting information. He expects local municipality to send official reply to him regarding the suppression on the TV-Radio Company and as soon as he receives the answer he would make an official comment.
