State Budget Will Be Increased by 430 Million Lari

Tbilisi.10.09.07.Medianews. In 2007 Georgian State Budget will increase by 430 million lari. Today, the Parliamentary Committee of Branch Economics and Economic Police discussed the draft amendments to the budget and voted it for.

Grigol Gobejishvili, Deputy Minister of Finances introduced the committee with the draft law. He stated that most of increased budget will be apportioned on the Defense Ministry and it will amount to 315, 845, 000 lari. The sum will be spent on the strengthening of national defense, reform in the defense system and to implement the undertaken responsibilities.

The budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will increase by 51 million lari and 11 million out of it will be spent on the defense of country border.

The Ministry of Economic Development will increase its budget by 21 million lari; the Ministry of Justice will receive additional 11 million lari and 3 million lari will be apportioned to the Central Election Commission.

Three million lari will be spent on the state program “Kardakari” that aims to visit the families of all voters throughout Georgia in order to draw up complete list.

The budget of the Agriculture Ministry will increase by 5, 5 million lari and it will be spent on the vintage activities. The Parliament will discuss the draft amendments to the State Budget on the meeting on September 14.

News
