Georgia’s Ambassador to Switzerland Resigned

Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia in Switzerland, Levan Mikeladze, resigned.
 
Officials from the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Mikeladze wrote resignation according to his wish.

The officials from the Ministry do not give exact reasons for Mikeladze’s resignation.

Today, the former ambassador published statement on internet where he underlined that the reason for his decision was events of November 7 when Georgian Government dispersed the protest demonstration by excessive force. It was unacceptable method for him to harass people.
