Zviad Khargilia, Suspected for Beating Riot Police Officer Might Be Judged Today

Zviad Khargilia might be judged today for having beaten the officer of the Riot Police during the demonstration of November 7th. As Shota Khizanishvili, Spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated in his conversation with the News Agency-“Pirveli” that criminal case was launched under the Article on hooliganism against Khargilia. Law enforcers arrested 34 year-old Zviad Khargilia two days ago. As it is known on November 7 several demonstrators brutally beat the officer of the riot police who was made several operations on. The health conditions of the beaten policeman are still poor.
 
Besides Khargilia approximately 10 people were arrested and sentenced to 30-day-imprisonment. However, official bodies deny the fact and claim that only two demonstrators were arrested.
