European Union Sent Adam Mikhnik to Observe the Freedom of Media Sources in Georgia

Polish daily newspaper “Viborshcha” writes that the EU and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to send Adam Mikhnik, a polish journalist and former activist of “Solidarity”, to Georgia. He must monitor the compliance with the principles of democratic governance by the local government and the freedom of the media sources. Georgian side requested the EU to send similar observer several days ago. According to the Georgian editorial board of the “Voice of America”, Adam Mikhnik will arrive in Georgia on November 29.
