“New Rights” Speak about Violations Committed by Mikheil Saakashvili’s Supporters

January 5, 2008
Tengiz Kakhidze, chairman of the New Rights Batumi Organization, stated that today a van with Saakashvili’s supporters and former president’s photos appeared near the polling station # 61 in Javakhishvili Street in Batumi. People in the van shouted: “We will win.”

Kakhidze said in his conversation with the Medianews that there were fifteen people in the van. They stopped in front of the polling station for half an hour and having voted they left the station.

Tengiz Kakhidze explained that above-mentioned fact is a violation and vehicles with the photos of any presidential candidate should not serve voters.
