Opposition Complains About Oppression in Kakheti Region

Radio Hereti based on the information from the Telavi Election Headquarter for Levan Gachechiladze, presidential candidate of the United Opposition, the observers from the opposition parties are oppressed at the Telavi Polling Station #17, Kisiskhevi Polling Station # 21 and Vardisubani Polling Station # 17.

Akaki Kardenakhishvili, representative of the Telavi District HQ of the United Opposition, stated in his conversation with the Radio Hereti that “Vazha Zuroshvili, the chairman of the Kisiskhevi polling station, is making statements in support of Mikheil Saakashvili.”

Elections are going on with various violations in the village of Karajala which is inhabited by ethnic Azerbaijan people and three polling stations are working there.

According to the radio “Hereti” voters are not marked while registration.

The presidential candidate from the governmental party is openly supported at the polling stations.
