NGOs Discovered Violations during Election Process

Today, at the briefing of NGOs, Koki Ionatamishvili, the chairman of the non-governmental organization ”New Generation-New Initiative”, discussed the violations discovered during the election process.

He said that the election process is carrying out in normal conditions; however several violations were observed. More precisely, in Tbilisi, at the polling station # 87 in Samgori PEC, commission members did not give out ballot papers of the plebiscite on NATO integration.
Because of the violation the chairman of the polling station shall be punished. Besides that several voters, whose addresses were not indicated in their IDs, were included in additional lists.

Koki Ionatamishvili appreciated the activities of commission members who are very adequate to the remarks and suggestions of observers.
