The family members and colleague of Malkhaz Basilaia, the kidnapped journalist of the TV Company “Mze”, gathered in front of the UN office in Zugdidi. They tried to enter the building; demonstrators did not let the UN vehicles to leave the office.

The family members urge the UN for help. They request to send a doctor to the cell of the detainees who will prepare a medical conclusion on his health.

The demonstrators stated the detainee has heart disease and he will not undergo the pressure. The relatives of the journalist request Luis Arbuni, the High Commissionaire of the UN to involve the case.
