Guidebook: Media Sources Should Reveal Issues on Children

“How to Broadcast the Issues about Children by Media Sources," is the title of the book which will be presented in the conference hall of the Tbilisi State University at 2:00 PM on April 8.

The guidebook was prepared by the Tbilisi State University and UNICEF. The target group of the book is students, teachers of the journalistic faculty and others interested in the media

The guidebook “How to Broadcast the Issues about Children by Media Sources” will be inserted in the educational programs of the journalistic faculty of the Tbilisi State University and the Caucasian Media Management Facility, as well as at School of Journalism.

Organizers of the event state that the book aims to support the media sources in revealing the children’s issues by following the high standards of the international journalistic federation as well as adhering to ethic norms and the overall rights of children. The guidebook will assist media professionals who work in protecting children’s rights. working on children issues to protect the rights of the child.

Giorgi Khubua, Rector of the Tbilisi State University and Jovany Barberries, Representative of the UNICEF in Georgia will attend the presentation.
