“Saakashvili and Merabishvili Plotted Assassination of Badri Patarkatsishvili”

April 15, 2008

Irakli Okruashvili, former Defense Minister of Georgia claims that President Mikheil Saakashvili and Vano Merabishvili, the acting Minister of Interior planned the assassination of Badri Patarkatsishvili, the now deceased business tycoon. They have also decided to murder 10-125 other in addition to Badri, he alleges.

Okruashvili reported to the Russian edition “Vlast” most part of those to be liquidated people are not only famous people but some who are now living abroad.

As for official conclusion of the British Police Department regarding Patarkatsishvili’s death, Okruashvili thinks that “British law enforces should not have acted in different way because they were not eager to have another scandal in their country, especially in the aftermath  of the assassination of Alexander Litvinenko, former KGB and FSB officer.”

The now exiled and asylum seeking former Defense Minister also claims Mikheil Saakashvili will be brought to justice before 2012 and he will be punished for the crimes that he has committed.
