News Programs Transmitted on TV Company “Imedi” beginning September

Nino Zautashvili, producer of the entertainment department of the TV Company “Imedi”, reported to the newspaper “Kvela Siakhle”. She stated that the issue is already settled.

Before that, Bidzina Baratashvili, the Director General of the TV Company, stated that when technical problems were resolved, “Imedi” would air a news programs at the end of June.

Nino Zautashvili stated in her interview with the newspaper that within a week they will determine the strategy, budget and outline the priorities of the company; thus they will decide what kind of news programs that will be transmitted by the TV Company. Zautashvili also added the owner has authority to decide the format of programs.

“TV Imedi” suspended part of its broadcasting on May 5. Currently the company shows only entertainment programs.
