Two Prisoners Have Died

Today Levan K., a prisoner died in the Treating Institution of Convicts and Prisoners of the Penitentiary Department within the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. The prisoner was suffering from infiltrated TB, the insufficiency of lungs and heart, anemia. According to the doctors’ preliminary analysis, the prisoner died from severe breathing problems and vessel insufficiency amid TB intoxication. Levan K. was arrested for stealing. He was convicted to 4 years of prison term.

Another prisoner Giorgi A. died in the treatment institution for prisoners. He was suffering from TB meningitis, swelling of the brain, coma, chronicle hepatitis with low activity. According to the doctor’s preliminary analysis, the prisoner died from severe breathing problems and vessel insufficiency amid meningitis.

Giorgi A. was detained for illegal purchase-keeping-selling drugs. He was convicted to 3 years of prison term.
