Mathew Bryza, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State reminds Russia of the Sarkozi-Medvedev 6 point peace agreement. Mathew Bryza stated at a special briefing that Russian armed forces should have returned to their places of dislocation that Russian militaries had been occupying before August 7, 2008 in accordance with Sarkozi-Medvedev agreement. However, official Moscow has been refusing to fulfill this term up to present time. Russian armed forces are still on Georgia’s territory.
“According to the ceasefire agreement, Russians armed forces should have returned to the positions they had been occupying before August 7. However, Moscow has been refusing to fulfill the commitment undertaken under the ceasefire agreement up till. As a consequence of this Kremlin violates the most important paragraph of the agreement,” said Bryza.
