Kokoiti is planning to Establish Visa Regime with Georgia

November 28, 2008

The de facto head of South Ossetia plans establishment of visa regime for Georgia-Tskhinvali's administrative border.

Edward Kokoiti told news agency Os-Info that he now plans to take active measures for the creation of border checkpoint at Georgia-Tskhinvali administrative border. He said that there would be only one checkpoint at South Ossetia-Georgia so called border for the next 3 months.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia must elaborate and establish visa regime with Georgia and those who wish to enter South Ossetia they will have to apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to obtain a visa,” says Kokoiti.
