January 15, 2009

According to our information, residential houses located in the village of Ziari will also be sold; these houses are state property based on the data of Gurjaani registration service office of the National Agency of Public Registration. People have been living in those houses for over 10 years and now are scared that they would not be able to purchase the houses because of the high price estimated at the tender. In this case they will remain homeless. Locals reported that Sergi Kakalashvili is eager to sell their houses. Reportedly, the starting price of each house is over 15 000 GEL.

Aleksandre Tsikarishvili, representatives of the Kakheti department for property registration and privatization, confirmed that the ministry intends to sell the land and houses in the village of Ziari.
