About 1000 Employees of Kakheti Based Clinics Have Not Received Salaries

Reportedly, employees of the Union of Out-Patients and policlinics in Kakheti region have not received salaries of January and February in 2009.

Doctors state they do not know when salary arrears will be paid. Neither the directors of the unions have information about it. They state the reason for the delay in salary payment was reorganization of the out-patient program.

Zura Gaurashvili, director of Kakheti branch of the Health Agency, stated that doctors, nurses and other personnel of the policlinics will receive their salaries by all means but the exact day is not known yet.
